Your Questions, Answered
To complete your application for a Trusted Traveler Program (i.e., NEXUS, Global Entry, SENTRI), you need to schedule and attend an interview. However, many interview locations are fully booked for several months, leaving your application in indefinite limbo.

Thankfully, occasionally someone who's booked an appointment will cancel his or her slot, and that appointment time will be available to book for others. These canceled appointments can be at any time (some as soon as tomorrow!) However, Trusted Traveler Program applicants are very determined, so these appointments are typically gone in less than a minute.

This service constantly checks the NEXUS website for these windows of opportunity so you don't have to. By subscribing to our service, you won't need to sit in front of your computer for hours, clicking the same button in hopes of seeing a new appointment appear. You can go about your day and only click into the reservation system when you get a ping from us. And when you do get an appointment slot, it will likely be a lot sooner than 4 to 5 months in the future, which is what you'd have to settle for if you don't snag someone else's canceled appointment.
Notifications will be emailed. Make sure you add [email protected] to your email contacts so alerts don't get marked as spam. After you select your location preferences and checkout, you'll be added to one or more mailing lists. When we find a new appointment for your location, you'll get an email notification with the time and date of the available appointment.

Note that getting added to the mailing list may take up to 10 minutes. You'll receive an email confirmation when you're added from [email protected]
At the moment, there are no plans to support other types of notifications, but we have good reason not to! Although we understand that alternative forms of notifications are appealing, they are unreliable for broadcasting alerts to large audiences in a timely manner.

I explored broadcasting SMS alerts for example, but messages would often get dropped by the carrier and marked as spam. Even the messages that came through would often arrive 15-20 seconds after the alert was triggered. Given that many NEXUS appointments are typically taken in 20-30 seconds, this was unacceptably slow. Also, SMS alerts are very expensive, and I would have to raise the price of the subscription significantly only to offer a subpar delivery mechanism.
I optimized this service for speed and cost-efficiency to keep prices down for everyone.

The free Twitter bot is great, but the Twitter API is subject to delays of 10+ seconds that are unacceptable for our use case. Also, that bot only checks for appointment availability once a minute, which is not frequent enough for appointments that disappear in 20 to 30 seconds. The other paid solutions out there are also great, but they're far too expensive--typically around $30 for a month--and they cap the number of alerts you get each day.

This service is both fast and affordable. We check for appointments every 1 to 2 seconds and offer unlimited alerts, which is especially important given that the appointment times we find are pretty random!
Appointments are gone really fast after someone cancels. You need to be logged in and ready to claim your spot as soon as you get an alert from us.
The NEXUS program typically releases several interview slots on the first Monday of each month. However, these slots are several months in the future. For example, the Blaine location releases appointments 4 months out, so if you're checking on the first Monday of September, the appointments will likely be in January.
At least at the time I'm writing this, some of the NEXUS locations have a ton of interview availability. I have excluded these locations from the dropdown menu. If things have changed, please let me know at [email protected].
The first link is https://billing.stripe.com/p/login/3csaFqfKE8153XGdQQ. This is the customer portal where you can update your payment method, view your invoice history, and cancel/renew your subscription. If you cancel your subscription, you will stop receiving notifications at UTC midnight (5 PM Pacific time).

The second line in the footer asks you to email [email protected] to unsubscribe. If you do this, you will immediately stop receiving notifications for that location. However, this does not cancel your subscription billing. Please go through the Stripe link to ensure you don't get billed for notifications you don't want. If you accidentally unsubscribe but want to be re-added, please send us an email.
Some locations get many canceled appointments (and therefore openings) every day--sometimes 100+. Some locations may only see a few openings (or even none at all) on some days. Cancellation rates are unpredictable and beyond our control; we just notify you when they happen. If you feel like something is wrong and you're not subscribed properly, please send us an email at [email protected] and we can check if you've been properly subscribed.
